2009 Season

The Badanloch sheep flock experienced a very successful 2009 with a host of showing wins and successful sales. Amongst these successes were winning the hill sheep champion at the Black Isle Show in August and then the sale of a Badanloch tup at the United Auctions Lairg sheep sale on the 29th of September for the highest price ever recorded at Lairg, £11,000. Details of the successful sheep can be seen below

Sired by Keodale Krakpot • Half share bought by Charles Symons of Attonburn and half to Ted Fox of Elsdonburn

“Badanloch Hesitation” £6,000 tup sold at Lairg • Sired by a home bred tup whose father was a Balnakeil Tup. Half share sold to Forrest Irving of Whitchesters and half share to Bill Elliot of Hethpool
